Its light begins in
Layered petalled colours,
That sparkle on the edges
Of the music in
Clear blue skies.
Mirrored on
Mill pond canals.
A delicate warmth
Nudging me awake,
Promising the hope
Of long summer days.
One step forward slowly gently
